Before diving into mass token operations, it is crucial to understand how the application securely manages your wallets, interacts with the Solana blockchain, and executes automated strategies. Below you will find answers to the most common questions regarding security, configuration, and core features like the Volume Bot and the trading terminal. Always remember that automated trading carries inherent financial risk, so it is highly recommended to start with small amounts while you learn how the system distributes and manages funds across sub-wallets.
Yes. Your main wallet's private key and all generated sub-wallets are stored completely locally on your machine inside an encrypted database (wallets.db). They are encrypted using the master password you set during onboarding. Your keys are never transmitted to any external servers.
While the application defaults to the public Solana mainnet API, it is highly recommended to configure a custom, premium RPC URL in the Settings tab. Public RPCs are heavily rate-limited and can result in failed or slow transactions, especially when executing mass buys or volume bot cycles across multiple wallets simultaneously.
Solana Bots utilizes the Jupiter aggregator to route all of your token swaps. Providing your Jupiter API key ensures the application can fetch the most accurate quotes and find the best available liquidity routes for your trades without hitting public API rate limits.
The Volume Bot is an automated background worker designed to generate organic-looking trading activity for a specific token. You configure a target token, an interval, and the number of sub-wallets to use, and the bot will rapidly execute buy and sell cycles between those wallets to create consistent on-chain volume.
"Mass Out" acts as a panic button or a full cleanup sweep. When triggered, the application will iterate through every single sub-wallet you have created and forcefully sell 100% of their open token positions, converting everything back into SOL.
You do not need to manually transfer funds from each wallet. You can use the "Drain Wallets" function from the Wallets tab (or the drain CLI command) to automatically sweep all remaining SOL balances from your sub-wallets back into your primary main wallet, minus a small network fee.
Yes! The entire application is built on top of a powerful Command Line Interface (CLI). If you prefer working in a terminal or want to set up your own automated scripts, you can execute all core functions—like creating wallets, splitting funds, mass buying, and starting the volume bot—directly using the solana-bots command.
There is no "Forgot Password" button. Your wallets are encrypted and stored locally on your own machine in a file called wallets.db. If you lose your password, or if you delete that file without backing up your private keys, you will permanently lose access to those sub-wallets and any funds inside them. Always drain your wallets back to your main wallet if you plan to uninstall the app.
Failed transactions are usually caused by three things: network congestion on the Solana blockchain, not having enough SOL in the sub-wallet to cover the network gas fee, or hitting the rate limits of a free public RPC. If a mass transaction partially fails, you can retry the operation, or use the Position Manager to close the specific wallets that failed manually.
Every action on the Solana blockchain costs a tiny fraction of a cent in network fees (gas). Additionally, holding tokens requires a small storage fee called "rent." When you distribute funds, make trades, and eventually drain the wallets back, the app automatically deducts these mandatory network fees, which is why your final balance will be slightly lower than your starting balance.
While the Volume Bot runs as a background process, it still requires your computer to be awake and active. If you completely shut down your computer or it goes to sleep, the bot will stop running. It is recommended to leave the Volume Bot tab open so you can monitor the live stats and system logs for any errors.
No. The Trading Terminal and Volume Bot strictly operate using the generated sub-wallets. The only time the app interacts directly with your Main Wallet is when you explicitly click "Distribute Funds" to send SOL out to your sub-wallets, or when you use the "Drain" feature to pull SOL back in.
